![]() Ceramic Media![]() The High Density Performed Ceramic Media enables various finishes to be imparted on metals, plastics and other ceramic materials, according to the grade selected. It is used according to grade, shape and size, in a variety of barrel, vibratory and centrifugal finishing machines, to perform such operations as, grinding, deburring, deflashing, honing, polishing, burnishing and super-finishing to low micro inch finishes. In addition to standard sizes, Ceramics can be manufactured with length greater than section or section greater than length, in any grade of material. Also available with straight or angle cut form. Supercut TC12 gradeAn alternative to Fast Cut Grade this media has excellent stock removal and deburring qualities. Fast Cut TC2 gradeSuitable for fast deburring and stock removal on ferrous and non-ferrous components. Standard Cut TC1 gradeFor normal abrasive finishing and surface improvements on ferrous and non-ferrous components, giving a good finish when used with an appropriate compound. Superfine TCO gradeFor non-abrasive applictions including burnishing, acid cleaning, descaling and polishing. Ultrafine TCX gradeFor non-abrasive applications where an Aluminous Porcelain is preferred to steel media. It is used extensively for pickling, burnishing and polishing operations when used in conjunction with a paste or burnishing compound.
